Scott Dennis, CEO
As a co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of DKE Precision, Scott Dennis provides the strategic direction to this contract engineering and manufacturing services firm. Scott is also responsible for the day-to-day management of client relationships and oversight of manufacturing operations.
Prior to co-founding D&K Engineering and DKE Precision, Scott spent several years at Hewlett Packard in various technical roles. His technical experience includes: mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, lab automation and quality. He has held various technical and management roles within his career with HP and York International.
A native speaker of Spanish, Scott graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1993 with BS degrees in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering and with an MSME from Stanford University in 1995, with an emphasis in Mechatronics and Smart Product Design.
Lin Chee Seng, General Manager
As the General Manager for DKE Precision, Lin Chee Seng is responsible for all of the day-to-day operations for both DKE Precision’s manufacturing and R&D functions which includes engineering management, program management, building a world class supply chain, driving a lean manufacturing environment and creating a continuous improvement culture.
Prior to joining DKE, Chee Seng had a very successful 21 year career with HP in various engineering and management roles in HP’s inkjet business responsible for worldwide manufacturing of HP consumer and office printing products. Most recently, Chee Seng was Director of Operations for HP’s Imaging and Printing operation, managing the manufacturing of approximately 40 million printers annually.
Chee Seng holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) with First Class Honors from the National University of Singapore.
Koh Joo Beng – Director of Research and Development
Koh Joo Beng is the Director of Research and Development at DKE Precision. The R&D department is responsible for the development of a range of complex electro-mechanical products for DKE Precision’s clients. With over 24 years of R&D experience, Joo Beng leads a department that is comprised of experienced engineers of diverse disciplines and expertise. Joo Beng works closely with DKE’s sister company and other development and manufacturing partners in providing products that meet client’s expectations.
Previously, Joo Beng held numerous R&D management positions at Hewlett Packard where he led cross functional teams in the development of inkjet printers, fax machines, all-in-ones, PDAs, and other consumer electronic products. Most recently, Joo Beng was the Director of Product Generation for the Emerging Markets, Fax and OEM division for Hewlett Packard where he led the development of products that successfully penetrated this highly competitive market.
Joo Beng holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, a Master of Business Administration from Cranfield University, UK and a Master of Science in Astronomy from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia.
Patrick Choy Kim Hoe, Director of Supply Chain
Patrick Choy Kim Hoe leads the supply chain function at DKE Precision as the Director of Supply Chain. Responsible for architecting the end-to-end supply chain for this critical company function, Patrick manages the daily supply chain operational responsibilities that consist of Planning, Procurement, Purchasing and Logistics for the company.
Prior to joining DKE Precision, Patrick spent over 20 years at Hewlett Packard in various engineering and business management positions. The most recent position as the Global Procurement Operations Manager for HP’s Global Sourcing & Procurement where he achieved significant cost reduction without compromising product availability through a strategy of global supplier consolidation, alternate sourcing, and implementation of eProcurement processes.
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Salford in England.
Teoh Hoo Seong, Director of Operations
As the Director of Operations, Teoh Hoo Seong manages the manufacturing operations including resource and competency development for DKE Precision with a key focus on quality, cost and delivery. Key to his operational management success at DKE Precision has been the implementation of lean manufacturing and a well-defined quality management system throughout the organization.
Previously, Hoo Seong held various management positions at Hewlett Packard were he successfully led the new product introduction teams for Retail Publishing Solutions and Specialty Printing Systems in the delivery of Photo Kiosks, large format plotter family of products and numerous other HP products.
Hoo Seong holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Summa Cum Laude, from Northern Arizona University.
Alex Y. Kunczynski, Board Member
As a co-founder and the President of D&K Engineering, Alex Kunczynski manages business strategy, go-to-market initiatives and revenue growth for D&K Engineering's engineering and manufacturing services. Alex also oversees the day-to-day engineering services operations.
Prior to co-founding D&K Engineering, Alex spent several years at Hewlett Packard as a Manufacturing Development Engineer. While at HP, Alex had various technical and business development responsibilities including; manufacturing tooling development, process control systems, software development, process manufacturing optimization, supplier management and strategic vendor development.
Prior to HP, Alex worked in the ski-lift and transportation industry as a mechanical engineer and project manager.
Fluent in French, Spanish and Polish, Alex graduated from Stanford University in 1994 with a BSME and in 1995 with a MSME with an emphasis in Mechatronics and Smart Product Design.
Bruce Pinkston, Board Member
As a co-founder and the Chief Administrative Officer of D&K Engineering, Bruce Pinkston is responsible for the company's administrative functions including; Human Resources, Legal Services, Strategic Initiatives, Corporate Planning and Administrative Services. With over 30 years of business experience, Bruce brings to D&K Engineering a diversified background that includes scientific investigation, research, management and administrative consulting.
Bruce started out in business owning and operating construction companies in Southern California. With the success of these companies, Bruce began offering administrative services to a diverse client base that over the next 20 years included county Fire departments, State agencies, universities, volunteer organizations and private companies.
Bruce attended and graduated from Concordia University with a bachelor's degree. He obtained a Licenciado in Scientific Research from the Honduran Institute of History and Anthropology and was licensed to conduct medical ethnographic research in Guatemala, Honduras, Panama and Baja California where he developed and administered projects for the World Health Organization, U.S. universities, and Latin American governments for 10 years.
