Scott Dennis, CEO, DKE Precision

As a co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of D&K Engineering, Scott Dennis provides the strategic direction to this engineering and manufacturing services firm. Scott is also responsible for the day-to-day management of client relationships and oversight of manufacturing operations.

Prior to co-founding D&K Engineering, Scott spent several years at Hewlett Packard in various technical roles. His technical experience includes: mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, lab automation and quality. He has held various technical and management roles within his career with HP and York International.

A native speaker of Spanish, Scott graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1993 with BS degrees in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering and with an MSME from Stanford University in 1995, with an emphasis in Mechatronics and Smart Product Design.

Chee Seng, General Manager, DKE Precision

As the General Manager for DKE Precision, Lin Chee Seng is responsible for all of the day-to-day operations for both DKE Precision’s manufacturing and R&D functions which includes engineering management, program management, building a world class supply chain, driving a lean manufacturing environment and creating a continuous improvement culture.

Prior to joining DKE, Chee Seng had a very successful 21 year career with HP in various engineering and management roles within in HP’s inkjet business responsible for worldwide manufacturing of HP consumer and office printing products. Most recently, Chee Seng was Director of Operations for HP’s Imaging and Printing operation, managing the manufacturing of approximately 40 million printers annually.

Chee Seng holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) with First Class Honors from the National University of Singapore.

Alex Y. Kunczynski, President, D&K Engineering

As a co-founder and the President of D&K Engineering, Alex Kunczynski manages business strategy, go-to-market initiatives and revenue growth for D&K Engineering's engineering and manufacturing services. Alex also oversees the day-to-day engineering services operations.

Prior to co-founding D&K Engineering, Alex spent several years at Hewlett Packard as a Manufacturing Development Engineer. While at HP, Alex had various technical and business development responsibilities including; manufacturing tooling development, process control systems, software development, process manufacturing optimization, supplier management and strategic vendor development.

Prior to HP, Alex worked in the ski-lift and transporation industry as a mechanical engineer and project manager.

Fluent in French, Spanish and Polish, Alex graduated from Stanford University in 1994 with a BSME and in 1995 with a MSME with an emphasis in Mechatronics and Smart Product Design.

Bruce Pinkston, Chief Adminstrative Officer, D&K Engineering

As a co-founder and the Chief Administrative Officer of D&K Engineering, Bruce Pinkston is responsible for the company's administrative functions including; Human Resources, Legal Services, Strategic Initiatives, Corporate Planning and Administrative Services. With over 30 years of business experience, Bruce brings to D&K Engineering a diversified background that includes scientific investigation, research, management and administrative consulting.

Bruce started out in business owning and operating construction companies in Southern California. With the success of these companies, Bruce began offering administrative services to a diverse client base that over the next 20 years included county Fire departments, State agencies, universities, volunteer organizations and private companies.

Bruce attended and graduated from Concordia University with a bachelors degree. He obtained a Licenciado in Scientific Research from the Honduran Institute of History and Anthropology and was licensed to conduct medical ethnographic research in Guatemal, Honduras, Panama and Baja California where he developed and administered projects for the World Health Organization, U.S. universities, and Latin American governments for 10 years.

Tan Piak Khiang, President and CEO, Encus International

From 1968 to 1971, Mr. Tan was involved in Light Industries Tool and Die Design and Manufacturing Management Training in EDB.  From 1972 to 1977,  Mr. Tan was the head of Tool & Design & Manufacturing and Metrology Lab in EDB - Engineering Industries Development Agency/National Engineering Services.

In 1978, Mr. Tan founded Singapore Shinei Sanyo Pte. Ltd. (Shinei), an international contract manufacturer specializing in product design, metal stamping, precision engineering and full turnkey manufacturing. For over 20 years, Mr. Tan was the managing director for Shinei growing the company to over $500 million in revenue. Shinei has manufacturing plants in Portland, Oregan, USA, San Jose, CA, USA, Shanghai, China, Glasgow, Scotland and Johor, Malaysia. Shinei has two design centers, one in Singapore and one in San Jose with over 5,000 operational staff and 100 design engineers. Key customers of Shinei include Apple Computer, Cisco Systems and Hewlett Packard.

In 2001, Shinei was sold to Solectron where Mr. Tan served as Corporate Vice President until 2003 when he retired to start Encus International. Currently, he is the Chairman and CEO of Encus International, a multi-national contract manufacturing company.

Kenneth Tan, Managing Director, Encus International

As the Managing Director of Encus International, Mr. Tan leads worldwide sales and business development for Encus.

Prior to establishing Encus International Pte Ltd, Mr. Tan spent 5 years with Philips Electronics Singapore as a senior engineer and project manager. At Philips, he led efforts to concieve, manufacture and market Philips' innovations in home and entertainment products.

Mr. Tan holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Queensland University of Technology in Australia and an MBA from The Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University in the United States.
